Okay, so let me start of by telling you who I am. You can call me Lita.. 19 years old, I'm currently on my second year of college and I intend to major in communications studies. Let me also tell you this: all the information I have given you is quite irrelevant to this blog; however by giving you this piece of information, you, the reader may relate a bit more to my situation.
As a high school student i was active in terms of physical activity and never considered my weight to be an issue- that is until I went to college. With loads of work (non-physical, of course) that I was bombarded with, i seldom found time to exercise... at the same time, my only defense mechanism or nervous reaction (whatever you prefer to call it) was to eat. Fast food-- candy, anything at the campuses' vending machines would do. It was no surprise that I quickly gained weight, 35lbs in only two semesters. I went from weighing 120lbs to 155. *keep this in mind: I'm Only 5feet 2inches tall and currently weigh apx. 155lbs.
So now you can imagine me looking like an Uhmpa Lumpa. Some of you readers may think this sounds funny or you may be-or know- someone who weighs more or consider to have a 'bigger' problem-- however, at least to me, it is no less a problem.
I've tried exercising and all sorts of diet.. diets are the most difficult for me
since i love to cook, eat and I'm vegetarian.
People don't believe me when I say this-- because they stereotype vegetarians as skinny hippy-looking youngsters.. but yes, I am a fat vegetarian.
So to make a long story short... I've tried all of the tricks-- put effort into working out, and read too many books, so I am heading to the bitter end of the diet spectrum...
Starvation.
And I don't tend to do it all of my life, Ive read fatal stories and I am well aware of the nutrients one must consume in order to live.. but for a short time I will consider this my project. For our purposes we will call it Project StarveNation.
We want a skinny America, lets see where starving takes us.
I plan to take you, my fellow readers, through the alternate route you may have considered taking ... Or one you've always deplored.
I will share with you my story,
